RewardsAtCheckout ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our browser extension and website operate with respect to your personal information.

Information We Collect

We collect no personal information. Period.

When you install RewardsAtCheckout and select your cards during onboarding, that information is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage on your device. It is never transmitted to our servers, never shared with third parties, and never accessed by us.

How the Extension Works

When you visit a checkout page, the extension detects the merchant domain and queries our promotions database — hosted on Supabase — to retrieve publicly available offer information for that merchant. This query contains only the merchant domain name. No personal information, no browsing history, no card numbers, and no identifying information of any kind is transmitted during this process.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

  • Your name, email address, or any contact information

  • Your credit or debit card numbers or account information

  • Your browsing history or purchase history

  • Your location

  • Any device identifiers

  • Any financial information of any kind

Third Party Services

RewardsAtCheckout uses Supabase to host our promotions database. Queries to this database contain only merchant domain names and return publicly available promotional offer data. No user data is involved in this process. You can review Supabase's privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.

Your Card Selections

The cards you select during onboarding are stored locally on your device using your browser's built-in storage API. This data never leaves your device. If you uninstall the extension, this data is permanently deleted. We have no ability to access, retrieve, or restore it.

Offer Disclaimer

RewardsAtCheckout surfaces publicly available promotional offers for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee offer availability, eligibility, or redemption. Always verify offer details and activation status directly with your financial institution before completing a purchase. RewardsAtCheckout is not responsible for missed, expired, or ineligible offers.

Children's Privacy

RewardsAtCheckout is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of the extension constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
